Database Marketing

Discover The Unrecorded, Underutilized, Highest Value Asset of Nearly Every Business and How You Can Begin Utilizing This Asset Today!!

Every business that I have ever audited, worked for or consulted with has balance sheet. As a modest stockholder in a number of companies I receive quarterly and annual reports. As a subscriber to the Wall Street Journal, Investors Business Daily, Business Week and several other business publications, I read financial performance and valuation reports.

None of the companies I have worked with or have read about recognize or focus on probably what is their most valuable asset which, of course, is their customer list.

In the past three weeks I ordered several different products on line. Both were done after considerable research including one personal contact. One purchase exceeded $250.00 and the other $1,500.00. The high dollar purchase was from a well known international copywriting Guru. The lower dollar purchase was made from a Company specializing in selling products and services designed to help marketing campaigns achieve a higher response rate.

No marketing "guru" has ever personally called me even though I have purchased thousands of dollars of information from several of them. In one case I purchased a package for nearly $8,000. I have not received an email or postcard saying thank you yet alone a call.

Step 1: Database marketing starts with capturing the contact information of the people doing business with your

Step 2: Thank them

Step 3: Keep them informed of new developments.

Step 4: Database Marketing Maintenance: update your database with changes in contact information and buying history.

The most valuable customer is the one already doing business with you. This is where you start.
